In construction of any side rails or stowage racks, we use simple ABS pipe available at all hardware and building stores. Below see the parts list for you to do your own. The cargo trailer has four corner round holes with lock set screws to secure the piping.

The recommended carrying capacity is 180 lbs. This provides ample load for several float boats, ice chest, camping gear and fishing rods and gear.
In our Bicycle Cargo Trailer Design , this aviation expertise plays a key role. We selected corrosion resistant aluminum for our flatbed bike beds combined with stainless steel components which has produced a bicycle trailer design that will last the original owner many care free maintenance years.
Our suspension system uses no thru axle. This is very key to an off road bicycle trailer design as it affords a trailer that will not hang up over center of the trail obstructions. The wide tubed knobby tire smooths the ride for your gear and never sinks in sand. This
allows less strain and pedal input form the rider.
The Bicycle Cargo Trailer Design of the aluminum bed on the standard trailer is unique for its t-bar slats. This allows sand and water to drop through the bed when loading a wet and muddy/sandy float device. The slats provide numerous tie off places so multiple gear straps will secure any arrangement of on board cargo.
Our Bicycle Cargo Trailer Design does not account for human riders. Our trailer is a cargo bed designed specifically for cargo and fishing equipment in particular. We integrated amber and red reflectors for safe night and dusk riding.
The top speed on down hill runs is a recommended 5 mph. This allows trouble free handling and is more then fast enough on down hill grades of 6 to 20 percent. Loading the trailer is common sense. The heavy load go over the center suspension and lighter loads to front and rear. You do not want to load weight forward putting a large tongue weight on the bike mount. Use the same common load measures used on your car trailers, RVs and truck trailers.
Bicycle Cargo Trailers for Fishing Gear with great cargo carrying ability are few and far between. Most bike trailers use bike tires at the cargo bed so you have a half of a bike tire restricting your cargo. Kane Klassics bicycle trailers were designed for two prime capabilities. The first capability utilizes a flat bed cargo area so your over size float tube and other fishing gear are not restricted and can hang off the beds side. The second capability mounts fat tires under the cargo bed for non interferance of your cargo load that will hang over the flat bed above the tires. These two capabilities offer maximum usage for getting your gear to your destination.

Kane Klassics has embarked upon building the finest, most off road capable Fat Tire Sand Bikes for the fly fishing purist. In a cooperative venture with Tammisea Fat Sand Bikes out of the Miami Beach area of Florida, we have taken a solid performing Fat tire bike with the industries widest 4.8-inch tires and added Kane Klassics performance and usability upgrades.
The Fat Tire Sand Bikes where design with aluminum and stainless steel components to with stand the salt environment of beach riding. We took this to a new level by the installation of the new Shimano internal shifting 11-speed rear axel gear pack and adding hydraulic brakes. When combined with an E-Bike electric drive front mounted drive motor you have the ultimate all wheel drive off road fat tire bike for dirt, mountain, sand and snow riding.
The E-bike Electric kit is engineered and installed with a steel heavy-duty fork, and combined with oversize spokes to assure the long-term use of the front drive system. The 48-volt battery provides 30 plus miles of level power and more range when you combine peddling. All this has been engineered using aircraft design and hardware to affix the battery; controller and accessories for long care free service life.
We use these Fat Tire Sand Bikes to haul the Kane klassics bike trailer (6′ trailer a mere 27 lbs.)with float tubes, float boats and gear around lakes in the area 100 miles radius from Reno NV. Fishing on lakes can in fact be like fishing on a desert. Until you know the waters and fish habits, you have to begin to fish, observe and react to what you see and experience. Equipped with the fat tire bike and trailer, you can leave your car or truck safely parked on firm terrain and ride straight to the waters edge, launch and begin to fish. Through your observations, if you see more fish action down or up lake, load up the float device and peddle to that area. No getting stuck in the beach sand as the fat tire bike and trailer with fat tires floats over the sand. Your truck, parked on firm soil is safe from getting stuck.
